Beast Boy's POV.
Raven and I were going out for pizza! Holy shit yes! I was psyched! I couldn't believe my luck. Does she like me? No… Well maybe. I mean I could have sworn I saw her checking me out when that training wall came down. Cyborg gave me a lot of shit for that.
I sighed and looked at the clock. The little red numbers blinked 12:30. Dammit. This morning when I talked to raven we had decided to go out at 3:00pm for a semi lunch/dinner thing. The time was killing me. I decided to do what I always did. Go work out. I walked into the training room wearing a black t-shirt and some basketball shorts.
And there she was: Raven. She was wearing a dark purple tank top and some spandex. She was also currently kicking Speed's ass in hand to hand combat. She knocked him back into the wall.
"You okay?" she asked out of breath.
"Yeah. Just fine." Speedy scowled. He stood and walked away.
"He's just upset because he got his ass handed to him by a girl." Aqualad said siting on a bench by Raven. She sat down next to him and picked up a water bottle. "think you could you take me?" Aqualad asked obviously flirting.
"In my sleep." Raven answered while putting the water bottle down.
Unable to stand the Fish Boy flirting with 'My Raven' I walked up to them. "What about me Rae?"
She looked up at me and rolled her eyes. "Puh-lease! I could do you in a heartbeat wiith my hands tied behind my back."
I raised an eyebrow. "You want to do me?" I asked letting my joking dirty mind get the better of me.
Ravens cheeks turned a cotton candy pink. "No, I mean-No.. That's not what I ment and you know it!"
"I don't know Rae…" I got even closer to her. "I don't think you could resist my wild ravaging touch. You also couldn't resist my amazing bod…" I lowered my voice so it sounded seductive.
I glanced at ravens face just long enough to see the cheeks go from pink to red as she was staring at my lips. Yepp, she liked me. Or at the very least wanted to get in my pants…
Aqualad cleared his throat. I leaded back. "So Rae, you against me? No powers, just hand to hand." I took my t-shirt off (trying to distract her) and walked over to where the floor was padded so that I wouldn't hurt Raven when I beat her.
"Fine." She said looking unfazed by the shirtless me. And I guess she went for the same approach because she pulled her tank top over her head leaving her in a black ports bra and spandex.
I swallowed. God this was backfiring…
"Aqualad!" Rae said walking over to me. "You be the judge, any powers or unfair advantages and you let us know."
"One… Two…" Aqua lad counted. "Three… GO!"
And it was off Raven and I fought each other. I was expecting to win with hardly any effort considering I was so much bigger than her. But she was smart. She moved swiftly from the blows that she couldn't take and used my own energy to add more force behind her hits. We fought and fought. Until I glanced up at the clock. 3:07pm.
"Damn." I said breathless "we've been fighting for 3 hours!" She had pinned me while I was looking at the clock.
"I win." She said breathless and sweaty. She fall back onto the padded ground. She turned her head to look at the clock. "Well, I guess if you give me a chance to shower and get dressed we can be on our way to the pizza place…"
I stood up remembering our date. I reached a hand down to her and pulled her up. Aqualad had gotten bored somewhere after the 1 hour mark. "I'm going to go shower too." I said. "See yeah in a while." We both walked out of the training room and our separate ways. But I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing she was…

Raven's POV.
So Beast Boy and I fought equally matched for three hours straight. I barely won. But it felt good. I let the warm water rinse the sweat off my body. I washed my hair with some of Star fire's 'peppermint twist' shampoo sense I was out of the kind I buy. After I got out the scent of peppermint was over whelming me, I could only imagine how poor Beast Boy with his above average sense of smell was going to feel about this.
I walked into my room wearing a towel. What should I wear?! My leotard and cape were weird to wear… or were they? I haven't been on a date in a long time. Wait, No, this is NOT a date.
I finally decided on a pair of light denim jeans and black see through blouse with a purple undershirt. I brushed my hair out and blow-dried it. I had just slipped on a pair of black convers when I sensed Beast Boy outside my room. I grabbed some money and shoved it in my back pocket. I walked out the door and walked right past Beast Boy. I walked straight to the roof. He followed me.
"Ready?" I asked not turning to look at him. It was cold out but I didn't care. It was a sensation on my skin.
"uhmm, yeah." He sounded kind of nervous.
"Relax," I said sensing his stress. "I don't bite. You're the one who changes into animals."
That got a laugh outta him. I formed a round black disk out of my powers. I climbed on. "c'mon" I said turning to him. It was 4:00 by now. "We're already late" I smiled. Yes I actually smiled.
Beast Boy rewarded that smile with one of his own. It warmed me up inside. He climbed on and I flew us over to the Pizza place. He told me crappy stupid jokes the whole ride. We ordered a pizza ½ veggie and ½ peperoni.
As I ate a slice Beast Boy glared at the Pizza. "What?" I asked
"You might as well be eating me!" Beast Boy took a bite of his veggie pizza.
"Better than you eating me" I said
Beast Boy slowly smiled REALLY widely. Then I realized what he was thinking.
"GARFIELD! Get your mind out of the gutter!" I rolled my eyes but felt the blush fill my cheeks.
"I like that" He said.
"What?"
"When you call me Garfield. and when you blush, its cute…" Beast Boy blushed. "I also really like it when you smile."
I sighed. What was I supposed to say.
Beast Boy also sighed. "Okay Raven I'm going to completely honest with you." He looked into my eyes. "I like you. A lot. More than a friend if you still don't understand what I mean."
I was quite.
"I would like to ask you out to a movie after dinner, but not as friends."
I was still quite.
"Raven…"
A few light bulbs exploded around us. "Sorry" I mumbled to the guy who came to fix them.
"Come on." Beast Boy picked up my hand and put some money on the table. I surprised myself by not pulling my hand away. I could feel his surprise at it too but he wasn't complaining.
He took me to the park. All the kids and adults were gone. But the image of Terra playing with Beast Boy instantly came to mind striking Anger and Fear. I remembered Terra really well. She betrayed us for her own gain. She teamed up with Slade breaking poor Garfield's heart. I sighed. I knew Terra and Beast Boy had done the naughty. I remember getting a drink one morning ad catching her bolting back to her room in Beast Boy's t-shirt. I also knew she had done the nastier with Slade. I think BB understood more about how I needed to control my emotions after that…
"What are you thinking about?" Beast Boy asked.
"The past. Mistakes made. Emotions…" I said quietly.
After a moment of quite Beast Boy spoke again. "Why do you think of sad things around me?" I looked up into his green eyes.
I then surprised myself again by answering honestly. "I tend to think about Terra when I see you…"
He looked down.
"Yeah.." I sighed. "She doesn't bring up the fondest memories for me…" ashamed for bringing up this dreadful topic but I didn't have time because the next thing I knew a soccer ball was flying at my face. I barely stopped it.
I turned and saw two little boys who the ball belonged too. I took a deep breath and gentaly handed the ball back to them. "You should get home."
The boys looked at me wide eyed then ran off. "Do I have something on my face?" I asked
"No…" Beast boy said. "But was it just you are did those two boys look familiar. I didn't want to say anything but the two boys with straight blond hair and blue eyes looked a lot like Terra….
